Remade twice, first as the 1991 Hong Kong film "Black Cat" ("Hei Mao"), directed by Stephen Shin and starring Jade Leung, and then as the 1993 US film "Point of No Return," directed by John Badham and starring Bridget Fonda; and twice adapted for television, in 1997 as "La Femme Nikita," starring Peta Wilson, which aired for five seasons on USA, then in 2010 as "Nikita," starring Maggie Q, which aired for four seasons on The CW.
